A proud milestone for the TRAINEE project! The University of Malta team presented the first consortium research paper at the International Conference on Industry of the Future and Smart Manufacturing (ISM), sharing insights from a European survey on integrating mixed reality into engineering education.
The paper, Rethinking Engineering Education in Light of Mixed Reality Opportunities – Results from a European Survey, is based on stakeholder feedback gathered from engineering educators and students across Europe.
Key findings from this Europe-wide survey were shared, synergies between the perspectives of educators and students were identified, and a path forward with mixed reality as a promising solution was discussed. Presenting the research proved to be an enriching experience; the project was promoted, and valuable discussions and feedback were received from an academic audience that will shape the future outcomes of the work.
