9/12/2025
At the Fourth International Conference on Innovations in Computing Research (ICRβ25), held in London, UK (August 25β27, 2025), Sandi Ljubic from University of Rijeka actively contributed to the program through a paper presentation, session chairing, and by serving as a panelist in the panel discussion Emerging Trends in Computer Science and Computer Engineering Education.
Within the panel discussion, particular attention was given to the transformative role of Mixed Reality technologies in shaping the future of engineering education. Sandi Ljubic highlighted how ongoing efforts within the Erasmus+ TRAINEE project explore the integration of immersive technologies to enhance training, experiential learning, and innovation in curricula. Alongside this, the potential of Large Language Models (LLMs) was also addressed as a complementary technology supporting educational advancement.
The panel created an inspiring space for idea exchange, new perspectives, and potential future collaborations, including mutual visits. π
